A fireball (meteor) was seen in about five midwest states last night. Those states include Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Wisconsin. According to the National Weather Service in Sullivan, Wisconsin:

Several reports of a prolonged sonic boom were received from areas north of Highway 20, along with shaking of homes, trees and various other objects including wind chimes.

It lit up the skies for about fifteen minutes, with some only seeing it as long as twenty seconds. [SOURCE]
