1 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.

2 And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.

3 The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word.

4 The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.

Arkansas Camp Ground Disaster

Friday, June 11th, 2010

A huge flash flood wiped through Arkansas yesterday, flooding out people in their cabins, vans, campers, and RV’s. Vehicles and cabins were completely destroyed and or turned over; some of the vehicles even washing down the river. Water levels went from three to over 20 feet within a matter of hours. There’s no cell phone service up there and all the phone lines were washed away. There were even roads that were completely washed out and moved off of it’s foundation.

The flash flood happened at a time when campers in the area were either sleeping or just waking up. At the time, about 300 campers were on the camping grounds. Although people are hearing that there’s a minimum of 36 people believed to have been washed away, there may be many others who are unaccounted for. At least sixteen people were killed and thirty people were rescued.
